I got this gun because everyone shoots with a vision now including the military and my son will get used to shooting with a vision. As long as you pump it for your son or daughter, you’ll be fine, and they must use it without you? Probably not, so I consider it a plus.
Pros:
Pleasantly surprising accuracy and alignment with mulighed
Cheap
Classic Look
Hard to pump (no preteen can do it)
Cons: Wide
Too a barrel (BBS will sometimes roll out when pointed down)
Very Heavy (heavier than an M-16)
I not know how durable it is, but construction seems solid. Either barrel is too wide or my BBs are too small. This is a serious disadvantage and affect the accuracy often.
I think it is a cutout, but I swear my previous cutout was more precise. Ultimately, I like how easy it is to load the BBs with the magazine. That being said, I think the magazine loading clip feels cheap.
