Of all 22 Air Rifles our absolute favorite is the Benjamin 392 .22 cal Bolt Action Pump Rifle – one of the reasons being, my father used to have one when I was a kid and it was the first gun I ever fired. I fell in love with the Benjamin 392 then and all though I have owned and used many .22 Air Rifles since then, it is always the one closest to my heart! It is still made with the same great quality materials and is still an all American. It is beautifully crafted and the wood stock is amazing. It is very accurate and one of my favorite things about it is that it is very powerful,  providing around 12ft lbs (leaving the barrel at 722fps) of power, making this a suitable weapon for vermin control.

I have done some testing on the pumping for the Benjamin 392 .22 cal Bolt Action Pump Rifle and after all the testing was done, I came to the conclusion after trying both eight and five pump strokes that six was the right number for best accuracy indoors at 21 yards.  Six pumps delivered a velocity of around 574 f.

Overall this rifle is exceptional value for money, and could quite easily beat some of the air rifles at twice the price.
